Lanebreak is a trading name of Neurithmetic Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15177502). Our registered address is available on request. We operate the website lanebreak.co.uk and provide talent identification and funding navigation services for sub-elite UK athletics athletes.

What data we collect and why
We collect personal data in the following circumstances:
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, and the content of your message. Used solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Athlete credibility packs: performance data, competition history, and biographical information. Collected and processed only with the explicit consent of the athlete (or parent/guardian where the athlete is under 18). Legal basis: consent.
- Club and brand relationships: contact names, email addresses, and organisational details of representatives. Used to manage business relationships. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data to any third party.
- We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
- We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website.
- We do not transfer personal data outside the UK.
Data sharing
Athlete data contained in credibility packs is shared only with the specific brands, universities, or funding bodies that the athlete has explicitly agreed to be introduced to. We do not share data beyond those agreed introductions without seeking fresh consent.
Contact form data is processed by our email service provider (Brevo / Sendinblue) solely for the purpose of delivering messages to us. They act as a data processor under a data processing agreement.
How long we keep data
- Contact form enquiries: 12 months from the date of submission, unless an ongoing relationship develops.
- Athlete credibility pack data: for the duration of our active relationship with the athlete, and deleted within 30 days of either party ending that relationship.
- Business contact data: for the duration of the business relationship and 2 years thereafter.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis)
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
